6 Months - 6 Mesi

She is 6 months!! We didn't take cute pictures this time, maybe later in the month. She is doing great though and loving life. We went to the doctor and she now weights 18 pounds and 1 ounce, she is 28 inches tall (which puts her out of the charts, and this time...way out). The doctor really wants us to start on the solids, big times so we are focusing to get that done...it's not super easy.
Ha gia' 6 mesi! Non abbiamo fatto belle foto questa volta, magari piu' avanti nel mese. Tutto sta andando bene e lei ama la vita. Siamo andati dal dottore e ora pesa 8 kg ed e' 71 cm alta (il quale la mette fuori dalla norma...ma tanto fuori). Il dottore vuole che ci diamo dentro con le papper, cosi' dobbiamo concentrarci e farlo....non e' troppo facile.



Bath is still her favorite time....well ours too! :D
Fare il bagno e' sempre la sua cosa prederita....bhe, anche la nostra! :D



We finally gave in on the idea of letting the baby cry at night and guess what... it's working. We have been doing it only for 3 days, but the first night she cried for 40 minutes. I though she was never going to fall asleep, but she did anyway. Next night it was only 10 minutes and finally last night not even 2 minutes and she didn't even cry, it was just a little fussing. The best thing is that after this she sleeps the whole night and wakes up ealy and not at 10!! Anyway, we are so proud of her and are excited to see her grow and develop more.
Abbiamo finalmente accettato l'idea di far piangere il bambino alla notte e indovinate un po...sta funzionando. L'abbiamo fatto solo per qualche giorno, ma la prima notte ha pianto per 40 minuti. Pensavo che non si sarebbe mai addormentata, ma invece si. La notte dopo erano solo 10 minuti e poi finalmente ieri neanche 2, ed erano solo pochi lamenti, non ha mai cominciato a piangere. La cosa migliore e' che dopo dorme per tutta la nottte e poi si sveglia presto e non alle 10!! Comunque, siamo cosi' fieri di lei e siamo emozionati di vederla crescere di piu'.
