Easter - Pasqua

We had our first Easter alone this year and we had a great time. We went to church in the morning, came home, put Alice to sleep and then started to cook lunch. We made fettuccine in creamy sauce and shrimp....it was delicius. The best part was to make the fresh pasta, we had a lot of fun and we might keep it as a tradition. We also had a nice salad but after the pasta we were already so full that we left the rest for dinner.
Abbiamo passato la nostra prima pasqua da soli quest'anno e ci siamo divertiti. Siamo andati in chiesa alla mattina, tornati a casa messo Alice a dormire e poi abbiamo iniziato a cucinare il pranzo. Abbiamo fatto fetuccine con panna e gamberetti...era buonissima. La parte piu' vella era fare la pasta fresca, ci siamo divertiti tanti. Avevamo anche una bella insalata ma dopo aver mangiato la pasta eravamo gia' cosi' pieni che abbiamo lasciato il resto per cena.







After Alice woke up we went to the park for a walk. There were so many people there and especially dogs (Alice loves to look at dogs). It was such a nice day, even hot with the black shirt I was wearing, so we picked out a nice little spot and hid some small chocolate eggs in the grass and watched Alice go after them. She was fast finding them but even more fast to put them in her mouth. I managed to stop her with all the eggs put the last one she was so fast that she took a bite out of it, including the wrapper.
Quando Alice si e' svegliata siamo andati al parco a fare una passeggiata. C'erano cosi' tante persone e specialmente cani (Alice adora guardare i cani). Era una giornata cosi' bella, faceva fin caldo con la maglia nera che avevo io, cosi' abbiamo scelto un per posticino e abbiamo nascosto dei piccoli cioccolatini tra l'erba. L'Alice era veloce a trovarli ma ancora piu' veloci a metterli in bocca. Sono riuscita a fermarla con le prime uova ma l'ultima l'ha presa cosi' in fretta che quando sono arrivata aveva gia' morsicato meta' uovo...cioccolata e carta!
