HAPPY BIRTHDAY - BUON COMPLEANNO

We had a fun day on Alice's birthday! She woke up at 8:00 and as I prepared some yummy pancakes, she played with her new gym.
Ci siamo divertiti il giorno del compleanno di Alice! Si e' svegliata alle 8 e mentre preparavo dei buoi pancakes lei ha giocato con la sua nuova palestra.



Then we went on a ride with the Trax to downtown where Lori (Russ' sister) was finishing her marathon. Alice loved the train, but even more being in the middle of so many people at he end of the race. She was all walking around reaching at kids strollers and saying "Hi", she was staring at dogs and just climbing everything she could.
Poi siamo andati sul Tram fino in centro dove Lori (sorella di Russ) arrivava dalla maratona. Le piaceva il treno, ma ancora di piu' stare in mezzo a tutte le persone che c'erano alla gara. Era tutta che camminava in giro andata dai passeggini e salutava i bambini, fissava tutti i cani che vedeva e si arrampicava da tutte le parti che poteva.





We got back just in time to eat some lunch and put her down for her nap....which wasn't long enough because we had to wake her up for the party [She wasn't so happy about that]. We had decided to have the party at a park, but when we got there it was so windy that we decided to go to Darlene's house and continue there.
Siamo arrivati a casa giusto in tempo per fare pranzo e metterla giu' per il suo riposino...che non era molto lungo perche' abbiamo dovuto svegliarla per andare alla festa [non era molto contenta di svegliarsi]. Avevamo deciso di fare la festa ad un parco, ma quando siamo arrivati c'era cosi' tanto vento che abbiamo deciso di andare a casa di Darlene e continuare li.



First she blew the candle, and tried to reach for the cake.
Prima a soffiato la candelina, e ho provato a prendere la torta.



And then we gave her piece which she ate all of it.
E poi gli abbiamo dato un pezzo che si e' mangiata tutto.



Neve, the other birthday girl, helped Alice with the eating, she was really good at feeding her.
Neve, l'altra festeggiata, ha aiutato Alice a mangiare, era molto brava ad imboccarla.



And then we opened the presents, and she had fun and loved every one of her presents.
E poi abbiamo aperto i regali, e si e' divertita e gli sono piaciuti tutti i regali.

Going to sleep at night wasn't so much fun. We think she definitly had too much sugar, and the time when she finally went to sleep was 1:30 am. Wow, good thing that there is only one birthday a year.
Andare a dormire alla sera non e' stato molto divertente. Pensiamo che decisamente abbia mangiato troppo zucchero, e quando si e' finalmente addormentata erano l'1:30 di mattina. WOW, per fortuna che i compleanni sono solo una volta all'anno.
