So we decided to go up to the Marmolada peak, all the way to the glaciar, to cool off!
We had to take 3 gondolas (if that is what they are called). We reached the grand total of 10800 feet at the top! Don't worry, we didn't hike very much!!
At about 10000 feet there was a restaurant and a museum of what was left of WW1. We visited the museum and then walked outside to see the caves on the rock from where the Italians fought the Austrians. There was a sign on the rock that I really liked: "Enemies in war, united in remembrance"
Ready to fight!
We really enjoyed an amazing view from here.
So many caves to visit!
There was still a lot of snow/ice up here. It was really cold too, like 20° F!
Ricovery room!
Alice was so cold and tired, but she still smiled to the camera.
