Ready to Go - Pronti per partire

It was just 7 years ago that with my best friends we were planning our one-month trip to Utah! We thought it would be the coolest thing to be away for a month and most of all to be in the United States. And here I am packing and getting excited to go to Italy for a month. Who would have thought that I would end up in Utah and having to patiently wait to have the chance to go visit Italy for a whole month?!
Erano solo 7 anni fa che con le mie migliori amiche stavamo programmando il nostro viaggio di un mese nello Utah! Pensavamo che fosse la cosa piu' bella essere cosi' lontani per un mese e ancora di piu' essere negli Stati Uniti. Ed ora sono qui che faccio le valigie e mi emoziono perche' domani partiamo per l'Italia per un mese. Chi l'avrebbe mai pensato che sarei finita nello Utah e che avrei dovuto pazientemente aspezzare l'occasione per andare a visitare l'Italia per un mese intero?!



Alice was so good this morning. I had a lot to do to leave the house clean and ready for the new floor, and to pack. Alice just played by herself all morning. I gave her a hot dog for lunch and she just sat on the couch and ate...she just came to me when she was ready for her nap!
Alice era cosi' brava questa mattina. Avevo tanto da fare per pulire la casa e preparare le valige. L'alice ha giocato da sola tutta la mattina. Le ho dato un wustel per pranzo e lei si e' seduta sul divano e l'ha mangiato...e' venuta da me solo quando era pronta per andare a dormire.
