Outer banks - NC

Here are some pictures of our spring break. not sure from what we took a break from, but it was definitly fun. We headed south on sunday after church and the weather wasn't looking so good. I took us about 5 hours to get there and we ran to the beach first thing.
Ecco alcune foto del nostro viaggio al sud. Siamo partiti domenica dopo chiesa e il tempo non era un gran che. C'e' voluto 5 ore per arrivare e la prima cosa da fare era una corsa in spiaggia.



Big waves, lots of wind and very very cold.
Giandi onde, tanto vento e molto molto freddo.

monday was the same all day so we went shopping and spent the rest of the day in the house where the kids had lots of fun making new friends.
Lunedi' era ancora freddo cosi' siamo andati a fare spese e abbiamo trascorso il giorno in casa dove i bambini hanno fatto nuovi amici e si sono diveriti insieme.



Tuesday was much much better. We went on a walk in the morning and ended up going back to get the sand toys to build our first castle.
Martedi' era una giornata migliore. Siamo andati a fare una passeggiata alla spiaggia e poi alla fine siamo fin andati a prendere i giochi per costruire il nostro primo castello di sabbia.








The days just got better and better and we had a great relaxing time taking walks on the beach and finding "tresures" as Alice refered to them.

I giorni sono migliorati sempre di piu' e abbiamo proprio aveuto giorni rilassanti di passeggiate alla spiaggia in cerca di "tesori" come li chiama Alice.

On Thurday we adventured in the 4x4 area only. We wanted to find the wild horses that happily live in the island but we never found them which was kind of sad for the kids.

Giovedi' ci siamo lanciati nella zone solo per 4x4. Volevamo trovare i cavalli selvaggi che felicemente vivono sull'isola ma non li abbiamo mai trovati ed era un po' triste per i bambini.

....but driving in the sand and throungh water/rivers was pretty exciting on its own!!

....ma giudare nella spiaggia e attraverso acqua/fiumi era abbastanza divertente di suo!!
