Roma (July 25-28)

We left for Rome at 6:00 in the morning and got there around noon! We checked in at our camp ground set up the tent and got ready to go out to visit the city.



First stop Piazza Del Popolo (the people's square).



Walking thorught the narrow streets.



Next we stopped at Piazza Spagna where they have the famous fashion shows every year were the top brands present the new fashion for the year.



Next we went to the Fontana di Trevi! Such an amazing and huge fountain.



One of the great tings about Rome is that there are drinking fountains everywhere. Alice got good at drinking from them.

Old olympic stadium next the the modern soccer stadium!



Via Appia: old road that leads to Rome. There were still some rocks from the roman time with cart tracks in them.

The prison cell where Paul and Peter were kept before they were martyred.
